Kathryn Tyler is an author and freelance writer who has worked from her home since 1993. The idea for this book grew out of an article she
wrote for the September 1996 issue of Writers Connection. Kathryn writes regularly for HR Magazine and has written for Your Money, Woman’s
Day, FamilyFun, communication briefings, The Rotarian, Good Housekeeping, and others. In addition to writing, she has taught at the
University of California, San Diego; San Diego State University; and in the private sector.
Kathryn received her B.A. in English-American Literature from the University of California, San Diego in 1992 and graduated with a M.A. in English Literature from San Diego State University two years later. She lives in Michigan with her husband and children.
